Sébastien Loeb and SLR to attack the streets of Pau!

Loeb Racing arrives in force in the city of Paloise (May 12 and 13). For the second round of the Porsche Matmut Carrera Cup 2012, the team has six Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars: four for regulars Jean-Karl Vernay, Sacha Bottemane, Vincent Beltoise and Christophe Lapierre plus two, one for Nicolas Marroc (driver from the LMP2 team) and one for Sébastien Loeb "himself"!

If racing in the Carrera Cup is not new for the eight times world champion, this is however the first time he will compete under the Loeb Racing colours, which will be, no doubt, quite emotional.

On the circuit of Pau (2.750 km - 15 turns), often called "little Monaco", pilots have no room for error, especially at the start. The show promises to be quite a meeting, particularly at the corner after the stands, the turn at the train station, where overtaking is often spectacular, the Beaumont Park sequence, or the descent back to the starting grid, are all especially technical...

That's it! My seventh victory in Argentina and my 70th overall. I do not know much about my stats, I know I've won quite a few times on asphalt rallies, but I think on gravel, Argentina will not be far from the record.

Hi all,

unfortunately I leave with nothing from Portugal. A blessing in disguise, I left on Saturday morning to attend the Castellet first tests of the SLR. A special moment for me, actually rather moving. This is the first time I have seen a car running with my name on it ... without being at the wheel!

Finally, I will not miss the racing baptism of my team, and it's good for morale after the accident on Rally Portugal.
